With or Without You (Quick Read)

Life doesn’t always go as we had planned, hoped or wished. And that can apply to all aspects of what life governs.

Health, business, love, career- any one of these can go awry from time to time. The vision, the plan, the wish – gets interrupted. We can be struck with illness, adversity, separation, loss of customers or unemployment. Each one of these can hit us like a freight train in a myriad of ways.

Of course some are self-prophesied and others self-inflicted. At other times we are placed in conditions that are the consequence of another person’s actions; like a business partner who betrays us and our livelihood suffers.

But whatever happens to us in whichever area mentioned above, it is how we respond that matters most. And we must respond in a way that we can progress or get back on course with our original goals.

It is either that or move backwards, which makes the situation you may find yourself in worse in the medium and long term.

With or Without You Life is Moving Onwards

You see, with or without you on board, life goes on; it keeps moving forward. It is okay to get off once in awhile and rest but eventually you have get back on and continue the ride.

Focus on Now and the Future

Once you have taken what you can learn from any adverse condition or situation and have rested well, it is imperative that you focus on what you can do now to make your future brighter and get it back on track.

Whatever happens to you, life keeps moving forward. It is okay to get off for a while and rest, but eventually you have to mount up and carry on with the ride

Moping around for what could have been or repeatedly saying to yourself, “If only…” is of no use. No matter how painful the obstacle or curveball is that has struck you, looking over your shoulder with such thoughts aren’t going to help.

And besides, if you remain wrapped up with what went wrong you may find it more difficult to get back riding the adventure we call life (Well, it’s what I call it).

Just remember the saying, ‘This too shall pass’, because eventually it will. Remind yourself that you may well have been through tougher times before and you got through them.

These times are all shaping you into a better, wiser and stronger person; just like your past obstacles have helped forge you into the marvelous person you are today.

Maybe your experiences will help you guide someone else in a similar situation in the future. Maybe you will be able to give them hope. Who knows?

For now, try not to be off the ride of life for too long.

With or without you it is moving forward at this very moment and it waits for not one soul.
